CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance by email, phone or in person,
EQUIPMENT PICK-UP AND RELEASE
Equipment not picked up by the end of the scheduled day will be immediately released.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
By using our services, you agree to pay all applicable fees to cover the cost of replacing lost, damaged, or stolen equipment up to the current LMU insurance deductible limit.
THE PRODUCTION SOUND DEPARTMENT, THE SCHOOL OF FILM AND TELEVISION, AND LMU ARE NOT LIABLE FOR MEDIA DAMAGE, OR THE PROJECT OUTCOMES, DUE TO EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION.
EQUIPMENT CARE AND SECURITY
Treat all equipment with care and respect.
Always secure equipment when on location, in transit, or in storage.
Properly secure sound carts and equipment in vehicles.
Protect equipment from extreme temperatures, dirt, and moisture.
Do not modify Production Sound Department equipment, including firmware updates.
FEES
All Production Sound Department rental equipment is subject to the following fees, charged to the student’s account:
- Messy, unorganized, or dirty return: Up to $50
- Damaged, lost, or missing equipment: Cost of replacement or repair up to the current insurance deductible.
Replacement equipment is provided at the discretion of the PSD Administrator.
Fees are cumulative and will result in restricted equipment access.
