ON CAMPUS PERMITS

Mazevo is LMU’s new online system that SFTV will use for on campus film permitting.  You can select from two different workflows: SFTV Student Filming or SFTV Student Rehearsal. Please note that at this time, students cannot request a permit to hold auditions on campus. For information on how to submit your on campus permit through Mazevo, click here. You can also watch our Loom Video Tutorials here for more information on submitting permits.

Students who wish to film on the LMU campus must apply for a campus filming permit through Mazevo. On campus permits take a minimum of five business days, per permit, for review and approval. Filming on the LMU campus must take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. Tail lights at 11:30 p.m. Tail lights refers to the time when the whole crew is expected to be packed up and either going home for the day or leaving for another location.

If a student needs to permit multiple on campus locations, it is recommended that they apply for all of them at once. Subsequently re-initiating the permit process can lead to delays and permits may not be approved in time for production. Courtesy of the Student Production Office, the Location Directory contains pictures and information about all of the available on campus locations. Contact either sftvspo@lmu.edu or pvspo@lmu.edu for the password.

For answers about the permitting process and production/location costs, please reach out to Nyla Manuel, and visit the Student Production Office on either campus.
