This process ensures equal opportunity for all eligible students and eliminates the need to line up early for reservations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who Can Participate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students currently enrolled in <strong>Student Productions 390, 490, 600, 650, or 680<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must submit the <strong>Camera Lottery Form<\/strong> during the designated submission window<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Where<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> COM 109 (Camera Equipment Room)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Form Submission Window:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be submitted <strong>two weeks before<\/strong> your intended checkout date\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Opens:<\/strong> Wednesday, 9:00 AM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Closes:<\/strong> Thursday, 12:00 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lottery Drawing:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The lottery occurs<strong> two weeks prior <\/strong>to the checkout week<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Thursday, 12:15 PM<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>COM 109<\/strong> (attendance optional)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lottery Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Emailed Monday<\/strong> following the lottery (10 days before checkout)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students can also <strong>email or visit COM 109<\/strong> to check their lottery number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How It Works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who submit forms <strong>within the window<\/strong> are automatically entered into the lottery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each participant receives a <strong>random lottery number<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equipment reservation forms are processed <strong>starting with the lowest lottery number drawn<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Missed the Lottery?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who miss the official lottery window may still submit a reservation form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forms are accepted <strong>up to two (2) days before<\/strong> the intended pick-up date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Late forms are <strong>time and date stamped<\/strong> and processed <strong>after<\/strong> all lottery reservations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HOW THE CAMERA SERVICES LOTTERY WORKS What It Is A fair and transparent system for determining access to camera gear for Student Productions classes.
